Warmer than yesterday, but very cloudy, damp and breezy. Also misting a little, even though it’s not supposed to snow or rain.

Still watching Michael Jackson, Life of an Icon. Not bad, so far.

Very cold out, but sunny. My latest chronic injury that’s been plaguing me for weeks, the inside of my left ankle. More of a sharp pain, not a dull ache, almost feels like a little torn. My left Achilles has been bothering me for a long time, this is probably the weak link. The Achilles overall isn’t as bad (or make the ankle pain covers it up).

Picked up Michael Jackson, Life of an Icon.

Have been watching Beautiful People TV series I never saw (4 DVDs, 16 episodes). I enjoy it, but the background sound tracks drive me nuts how they drown out the conversations a lot of the time … silence, please!

De-Cluttering, Use Running Energy for

Thinking about not running today and de-cluttering the house … :jawdrop: . IF I run, I will be tired, and complacent, and not want to bother. Now, I have the energy I would use for running. HAAAVE to — L-E-T — G-O — OF THE MAGAZINES …

I just did a quick clean/scan of the entry way to my house. I think my neighbor knocked on the door yesterday, and partly I was in the middle of work and didn’t want to be interrupted, but partly was the embarrassment of opening the door, even a crack and having him see my house looking like I’m ready to move. Not to mention he is a neat nick.

Inventory –

Magazines:
Consumer Reports since 1984 and growing (one a month). This is only one overflowing (large) file box, even so. This will be last. If I throw these out, it will be a miracle.

Psychology Today. A large stack. Will I really miss these?

Scientific America MIND. A large stack. Again, will I really miss these?

Skeptic. This magazine is only once a quarter, so a medium stack.

Misc. papers, pamphlets, booklets, magazines, etc. Yuck, yuck, yuck. What do I keep? Work stuff, insurance stuff, bills, banks, yada, yada. I know a lot of this stuff is online, so I probably will not miss very much at all.

Boxes:
Old folders and papers of stuff I’ve researched. The problem with some of this stuff is it’s not online anymore or the websites are gone. This will take time to go through.

Boxes of memorabilia. This is sentimental stuff, and once I throw it out, it’s gone. Same, this will take time to go through.

Boxes and albums of old photos. Can’t through these out. I could possibly scan them, but too much work. I someday want for someone to be able to find these … you know how they show these shows where they can’t find photos of anyone?

Catalogs; Orvis, Herrington, LL Bean, Lands End, Hammacher Schlemmer, The Teaching Company (they crack me up, they keep sending me ones that say, “We want you back” … do you know HOW MANY DVDs I’VE BOUGHT FROM THEM!!!! And they WANT ME BACK!!!!!! ), a few other misc. catalogs that keep coming, but not as many. Easy to throw out, there will always be more catalogs coming in the mail, that’s for sure. Some companies just keep sending them, I swear multiple times a week!

DVDs: I also bought a large DVD shelving unit, and I haven’t put it together yet. It’s supposed to hold 100′s of DVDs. It should take care of my inventory, with extra room.

Books: I probably need another shelf for books. I do like the way it looks when all the books and DVDs are on their shelves, it’s like being in a book store. So, I’m not about to clean house by book.

Couldn’t leave too far from the bathroom ALL day. Couldn’t sleep last night because my GERD acted up and felt like indigestion all night. Then, it moved down below. Drinking lots of GaterAde, haven’t ate much at all.

Did manage to drive back and take back movies. Saw two bit pull looking tan dogs sniffing around the streets and me an another guy going the opposite way have to stop and let them sniff by. They seemed oblivious of traffic. And here, I almost walked thinking it might be good to get out in the fresh air. Called the cops right away when I got home. They said they’d send someone out. I wonder if they are the two that surrounded me running that one time when it looked like people had a moving van, and the dogs were out, spotted me and surrounded me. Luckily the owner was right there and called them off and they went.

Sarah’ Key. Excellent movie. Mostly French closed caption, but English in it too.

Pool Boys. You could either watch Risky Business for the tenth time or watch this for s slightly different take and make. OK entertainment, but only a one watcher. Lot’s of T & A.
